Nonwovens Open Houses Open Doors for Orders and Product Trials

Nordson’s North American Nonwovens team worked with colleagues in China and Mexico to host some key customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the Duluth, Georgia, facility. The goal was to provide a forum for in-depth discussions on newer nonwovens technologies. Information was shared through presentation, lab demos and manufacturing tours.


These Nonwovens open houses are customized, interactive events where customers share current and future needs, and the Nonwovens team provides solutions to help them meet those needs.

The first two open houses were very well received by both customers/OEMs and internal Nordson attendees. Visitors were particularly happy and somewhat surprised by the transparency of both the lab and manufacturing facilities. These open houses are already showing returns in both orders and product trials.

The open houses were developed and led by Keith Adams, global nonwovens marketing manager. Keith notes, “These open houses are collaborative efforts involving manufacturing, lab, marketing and engineering teams. And, everybody involved contributed to creating a successful forum. We look forward to hosting more domestic and international visitors in the near future.”
